I was bored last night and decided to edit a picture I was really proud of 3 years ago and apply some of the things I've learned since then about color usage, contrast and hue shifting. They're all things I didn't really care about 3 years ago but slowly came to appreciate as I gained more experience as a pixel artist. The result is almost halving the colors used (from 27 to 14!) while hugely improving the look of it compared to the original.
I uploaded this as its own thing because I feel like the contrast with the older one is like night and day, and kind of reminds me that there's always room to improve.
